Special Issue on Narratives of the Apocalypse

The apocalypse is perhaps the most intractable of phenomena, open to religious, ideological, environmental, technological, and epidemiological interpretations of the end of civilization. This special issue of the Journal of Lusophone Studies welcomes articles that explore the apocalypse in Lusophone literary and cultural production through its multiple themes, forms, and implications, including transnational and comparative approaches. Deadline for submission: 1 July 2021.
