Keywords: Angola, Prison narrative, Nationhood, Estado Novo
AbstractIn this article, I analyze the Angolan author Luandino Vieira’s prison writings, collected in the 2015 volume Papéis da Prisão - apontamentos, diário, correspondência (1692-1971).
