Abstract
Em seu estudo, Thiago Mio Salla passa a limpo a história de “Quadros e costumes do Nordeste,” conjunto de narrativas que Graciliano Ramos publicou na revista estadonovista Cultura Política entre 1941 e 1943. Nessa empreitada, Salla revisou a fortuna crítica do escritor, revirou arquivos e trouxe à luz fontes até então ignoradas. Acabou por corrigir equívocos, completar lacunas e propor novas hipóteses interpretativas.
