Abstract
O livro de Rodrigues apresenta uma nova interpretação a qual confere um novo sentido à obra de Milton Hatoum. Testemunhando a perspectiva crítica da obra hatoumiana assente em conceitos relacionados com a ruptura regional e nacional agregada aos indivíduos representados, o ângulo da interpretação de Rodrigues estabelece uma interpretação singular acerca da ideia de dualidade não como par binómio em oposição, mas como par binómio que se complementa.
